This is Florida! - Exploring Florida in the Revel - Part 2 - Skyway Bridge

I found this really great boondocking place while exploring Tampa/St. Pete area.

The Sunshine Skyway Bridge spans the lower part of the Tampa Bay, connecting St. Petersburg to the mainland.

Part of the original bridge collapsed after a tanker collided with it in 1980.  The new cable bridge opened in 1987 but they left behind spans of the original to use as a fishing pier.  And this is where the boondocking can be found.

The are lots of great places to hang out on the Skyway Bridge.
